Who Should Attend

This educational activity is specifically designed for oncologists, hematologists, and other healthcare professionals, including nurses and pharmacists, interested and/or involved in the care of patients with cancer.

Objectives

After successful completion of this continuing medical education activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Identify at least three recent advances in therapy for breast cancer, inclusive of hormone receptor positive, HER2 positive, and triple negative breast cancer
  • Describe emerging data in hepatobiliary-pancreatic cancers
  • Discuss recent clinical trials in upper GI tract adenocarcinoma
  • Describe the impact of biomarkers in CRC treatment
  • Identify at least four recent advances in multiple myeloma, especially in induction therapy of stem cell transplant-eligible patients, front-line therapy for newly diagnosed myeloma, first relapse therapeutic options, and implementation of third-line systemic treatment options
  • Summarize at least three recent clinical updates in B-cell malignancies, follicular lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and aggressive lymphomas
  • Discuss at least two therapeutic approaches in CML, MDS, and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN)
  • Optimize sequencing and combine current and emerging therapies in renal cell carcinoma, castrate-resistant prostate cancer, and bladder cancer
  • Identify the role of clinical and biologic markers on therapeutic decision making in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • Assess novel agents for advanced NSCLC and discuss therapeutic options after post-maintenance relapse
  • Discuss at least three strategies for the optimal management of tumor/treatment-related symptoms
  • Evaluate therapeutic advances and clinical updates in uncommon cancers such as head and neck squamous cell cancer, melanoma, thyroid, GIST, neuroendocrine tumors, and gynecological malignancies
